Trading & Brokerage Division

Throughout the United States and Canada, Meat Commodities, Inc. has an extremely active trading and brokerage business.  Trade volume averages in excess of 4 million pounds of beef, pork and chicken, fresh and frozen, on a weekly basis.  The trading staff at Meat Commodities, Inc. combines for over 200 years worth of experience in all facets of the industry, from slaughter and boning, through to further processing and grinding.

In addition, Meat Commodities, Inc. is the representative for Martins Abattoir and Wholesale Meats, Inc. in Godwin, NC.  Martins currently has two slaughter facilities: a beef plant and a pork plant.  They currently slaughter 700 head of cattle and 1,000 hogs per day.
